The Sierra Designs Lightning 2 is a lightweight freestanding tent for 2. It is very easy to set up and provides great livable space in the tent. It has very straight walls and will provide lots of ventilation. It is a Hybrid Single/Double wall design that saves weight and eases set up. Set up is simple with the DAC shocckcorded aluminum frame that is hubbed for speed and convenience. It is an end entry tent with 1 door that is large and easy to get in or out. There is a large closable mesh window on the door provides good views and awesome airflow. The pole supported awning over the door provides a Dry Entry and allows ventilation, even in rain. There is even a Foot Vent that improves airflow through the tent. And because it is Freestanding you can pitch it almost anywhere. It also is equipped with the Sierra Designs Night Glow accessory that turns your own headlamp into a soft diffused light that illuminates the entire tent. It is made of light weight Polyester Taffeta and weighs less than 1 ounce. You simply hang it in the tent, insert your headlamp and instant illumination!
