The 2017 Fox 32 Step-Cast FLOAT Factory forks have become the lightest ever in Fox's lineup. They have been reimagined with a new FIT4 damper, which provides three on-the-fly compression damping positions-Open, Medium, and Firm-to adapt to undulating trail conditions. The Step-Cast chassis has a shorter upper tube length which raises the floor of the lower leg assembly allowing for a hollow lower leg section. A lighter overall chassis along with the already low weight of FOX FLOAT internals, the Step-Cast Performance series permits gracefully-efficient climbing making this a no brainer for the serious XC racing crowd. The FLOAT Air spring has been updated to be lighter and to react with more sensitivity, giving the rider a superior ride and exceptional control. Just like the Fox FLOAT rear shocks, this fork has a positive and negative spring that equalize automatically and can be fine-tuned with volume spacers for that ultimate, dialed-in feel.
