Bauer maintains its focus on puck handling and quick release in the Vapor X800 stick. In order to optimize the load and recoil energy in the lower part of the shaft; Bauer has re-engineered the flex profile to include an aggressive taper that they are referring to as their QRT (Quick Release Taper) Technology. This technology replaces the dual flex zone Intelli-Sense Flex Technology that was featured in the previous Vapor models. Bauer uses a combination of Visible Premium Lightweight 3k Woven Carbon Fiber as well as fiberglass in the shaft of the Vapor X800; making the stick feel comparable to offerings twice its price. The X800 also uses a traditional; proven; fused construction. The Micro Feel II shaft profile has rounded corners and double-concave walls which allow the shaft to fit comfortably into your hands; resulting in easier puck handling and superior control. The X800 is available in a matte or Griptac finish. The X800 features Bauer's Dual Density core blade core that is wrapped in 3k carbon composite for high-end performance and feel. Additionally; this entire Vapor line includes Bauer's Pure Shot Blade Profile which is that visible expanded throat design that reduces the amount of blade twisting or opening while shooting. If you're looking for a solid performing stick that enhances the quick release of your shot; with great durability and feel; the Vapor X800 from Bauer is one of our top picks.

I was seriously considering returning my Bauer Vapor X800 Griptac Sr. Hockey Stick - '15 Model, but now I used to it. I think for 109.99 is good enough.
